Ingredients (2 servings):
10 chicken wings or whole chicken
1 spoon doenjang (된장; fermented soy bean paste)
4 spoons gochujang (고추장; red chili paste)
1 spoon sugar
2 spoons red pepper powder
1 spoon soy sauce
3 spoons crushed garlic
Step 1. Boil chicken in hot water and add a generous spoon of doenjang.
Step 2. Add all the ingredients for the sauce while the chicken is being cooked.
Step 3. Cut up vegetables into small chunks as well.
I’ve added some jalapeño to make it a bit more spicy.
Step 4. Once the chicken is completely cooked, drain the doenjang water and add 2 cups of clean water,
all of the prepared vegetables, and the sauce mix.
Step 5. Stir and continue to cook in medium high heat until potatoes are cooked.
Enjoy with rice.
