Kimchi Jjim (돼지고기 김치찜; Braised Kimchi) Recipe

Kimchi Jjim

Ingredients:

1 whole kimchi
1 spoon of crushed garlic
4 strips of samgyupsal (삼겹살; pork belly)
1 green onion
1 whole pepper (optional)
1 cup of water

Kimchi Jjim Kimchi Jjim

Step 1. Put all the ingredients in the pot and cook in high heat.

Step 2. Once the meat is cooked, continue to braise it until there is only 1/2 of the soup remaining in the pot.

Kimchi Jjim Kimchi Jjim

Cut the meat into small pieces and enjoy with rice.
