Better known as “onion rice” (양파밥) in Korean,
this is an easy dish that only requires ingredients easily found in any Asian household.
Ingredients (1 serving):
1 spoon of crushed garlic
2 spoons of soy sauce
1 spoon of sesame oil
1 spoon of red pepper powder
1 serving of cooked rice
Step 1. Add a spoon of crushed garlic and place the pan in low heat.
Step 2. Meanwhile, finely chop 1/2 of an onion into small pieces and add into the pan.
Stir in low heat until onions brown.
Step 3. Once the onion is cooked, add 2 spoons of soy sauce,
1 spoon of sesame oil, and 1 spoon of red pepper powder and stir well.
Step 4. Cook an egg sunny side up.
Step 5. Pour the onion sauce over a bowl of cooked rice, and then place the egg over it.
