This dish is better known as gochujang (고추장; red chili sauce) pasta in Korea, but i like to call it ddeokbokki (떡볶이; spicy rice cake) spaghetti because it tastes just like ddeokbokki in noodle. (And it rhymes!)
Ingredients: (2 servings)
2 servings spaghetti pasta
1/2 spoon crushed garlic
a preferable amount of onion or paprika
a preferable amount of meat and/or seafood
(spam, sausage, bacon, can of tuna, shrimp, scallop)
2 pinches salt
1/2 cup milk
2 spoons gochujang (고추장; red chili sauce)
1 spoon red pepper powder
1/2 spoon ketchup (optional)
2 spoons sugar
Step 1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add 2 servings of spaghetti pasta.
I made the pasta sauce as I was cooking the pasta,
but you can also cook the pasta first, set it aside, and then make the sauce.
Step 2. Add 2 spoons gochujang (고추장; red chili sauce), 1 spoon red pepper powder,
1/2 spoon ketchup (optional), and 2 spoons sugar in a bowl and mix them together.
Step 3. Add vegetable oil, 1/2 spoon crushed garlic, onion or paprika,
and meat and/or seafood of your choice in a pan and stir in high heat.
Step 4. When your meat/seafood seems halfway cooked, add the drained spaghetti pasta, 2 pinches salt, and pepper.
Stir in high heat until the pasta looks equally coated in sauce.
Step 5. Add 1/2 cup milk and stir.
Let it simmer in high heat until there is very little amount of sauce remaining.
